What SiteGlue Is

SiteGlue helps businesses hire AI Employees that answer customer conversations, capture leads, schedule appointments, and turn interactions into opportunities across phone, website chat, SMS, email, video calls, WhatsApp, and Messenger — always with a Human-in-the-Loop™.

In industry language, AI Employees may also be called AI agents. SiteGlue calls them AI Employees.

Product Positioning

  1. Primary

    Hire Your First AI Employee.

  2. Supporting

    AI Built for Humans.

  3. Differentiator

    Always a Human-in-the-Loop™.

SiteGlue’s longer-term vision is to help businesses expand from hiring one AI Employee to building an AI workforce. “Build Your AI Workforce” is not the current primary CTA or homepage positioning.

Human-in-the-Loop™

Human-in-the-Loop™ is both the philosophy and collaboration layer behind SiteGlue. It keeps people involved through Team Handoff™, Team Takeover™, and Human Approval of important AI changes.

Team Handoff™

Team Handoff™: The AI Employee recognizes when a conversation should involve a team member, collects the required context, and routes or transfers the interaction according to approved rules. Team Handoff™ was previously described as Human Handoff.

Team Takeover™

Team Takeover™: A team member joins or continues an AI-led conversation while preserving available context and pausing or disabling the AI where appropriate. Takeover behavior is not identical across all channels. Team Takeover™ was previously described as Team Member Takeover.

Human Approval

Trish and other SiteGlue systems may recommend training, workflow, knowledge, channel, integration, or plan changes. Production changes require explicit human review and approval. SiteGlue does not automatically retrain or modify production AI Employees without authorization.

Team Takeover™ by channel

  • PhoneTransfer or route the call to a team member.
  • Website ChatA team member joins the live conversation.
  • SMSPause or disable the AI and allow the team to continue texting.
  • EmailDisable the AI for the thread and allow a team member to reply.
  • Video CallsEscalate to a human-hosted consultation, demonstration, or video meeting when configured.
  • WhatsAppPause the AI and allow the team to continue the conversation.
  • MessengerPause the AI and allow the team to continue the conversation.

AI Employee Roles

Communication Channels

Phone

AI Employees can answer inbound calls, collect information, route callers, transfer calls, take messages, and support approved appointment workflows.

Website Chat

AI Employees engage visitors, answer questions, capture leads, schedule appointments, and support live Team Takeover™.

SMS

AI Employees continue customer conversations by text. A team member can pause the AI and continue messaging manually.

Email

AI Employees can respond to approved email workflows. A team member can disable the AI for a thread and reply directly.

Video Calls

AI Employees may support video-based greetings, consultations, demonstrations, or connected video-meeting workflows where enabled.

WhatsApp

AI Employees communicate with mobile-first customers through WhatsApp. Team members can pause the AI and continue the conversation.

Messenger

AI Employees engage customers through Facebook Messenger. Team members can pause the AI and continue manually.

Capabilities may vary by plan, configuration, region, channel provider, and integration. Do not assume every channel capability is available on every plan. Team Takeover™ behavior is not identical across all channels. SiteGlue does not claim perfect cross-channel identity resolution unless that capability is implemented for a given account.

Appointments and Scheduling

SiteGlue can support different levels of scheduling depending on the business and connected integrations. Capabilities are integration-dependent.

Scheduling levels

  • No Scheduling Needed
  • Appointment Request Capture
  • Basic Scheduling
  • Advanced Scheduling
  • Custom Scheduling

Direct booking, provider selection, and EMR/PMS writes require a verified MCP integration. Otherwise SiteGlue can collect requests, share booking links, notify staff, and create human follow-up tasks.
